Our solar installation process

  1. 01

    Free site survey

    Engineer visits to measure roof area, assess shading, check grid connection quality, and review your electricity bills. Written recommendation provided same day.

  2. 02

    Customised design

    System design drawing, shadow analysis, single-line diagram, and DISCOM application documents prepared within 3 working days.

  3. 03

    DISCOM approval

    We file the net metering application with your DISCOM (TPCODL, TPNODL, TPSODL, or TPWODL depending on your area) and follow up. Typical approval: 3–5 weeks.

  4. 04

    Physical installation

    Mounting structure, panels, inverter, DC and AC wiring installed by our MNRE-certified crew. Typically 2–3 days for a residential system.

  5. 05

    Net meter & commissioning

    DISCOM inspection, net meter fitting, full system test, and your handover file: wiring diagrams, test certificates, warranty cards.

  6. 06

    Subsidy claim

    We file the PM Surya Ghar and Odisha State subsidy claims through the national portal. Disbursement to your bank account: typically 30–45 days post-commissioning.

Odisha homeowners qualify for both the Central PM Surya Ghar subsidy and an additional Odisha State grant — combined, the largest residential solar incentive in India.

Central subsidy under PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana — ₹30,000/kW for the first 2 kW, ₹18,000 for the 3rd kW, capped at ₹78,000. Odisha State Financial Assistance (Cabinet approved Jan 2025) — additional ₹25,000/kW for first 2 kW, ₹10,000 for 3rd kW. Subsidies apply only to grid-connected residential systems with net metering, installed through a PMSGY-empaneled vendor. We are that vendor.

For most homes with a reliable grid connection, an on-grid system is the best choice — it gives you the maximum PM Surya Ghar + Odisha State subsidy and the lowest net cost. If you need power during grid outages, add a battery (hybrid). Off-grid is recommended only for locations with no grid access.

A rough rule: divide your monthly electricity bill by ₹1,000 to get the approximate kW needed. For example, a ₹3,000/month bill typically needs a 3 kW system. Our site survey will refine this based on your actual load, roof area, and shading.

Yes — we manage the entire process: PM Surya Ghar portal registration, DISCOM application, inspection scheduling, net meter installation, and subsidy claim filing. You sign three documents; we do everything else.

Quality solar panels are rated for 25 years and usually produce well beyond that. Inverters typically last 10–15 years. We use BIS-certified panels with a 25-year linear performance warranty and a 10-year product warranty from the manufacturer.

Yes, periodic cleaning (every 3–6 months) maintains efficiency. Odisha's monsoon does some of the work naturally. Our AMC package includes scheduled cleaning visits and performance monitoring.

Partial shading reduces output. We assess shading during the site survey and recommend microinverters or power optimisers when shading is significant. We'll tell you honestly if your roof is unsuitable — we don't oversell.
