No. PM Surya Ghar and the Odisha State subsidy apply only to grid-connected (on-grid) residential systems with net metering. Off-grid systems are not eligible. If your property has a grid connection, we strongly recommend on-grid first for the subsidy benefit.

Lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO₄) batteries are rated for 3,000–6,000 cycles, which typically translates to 8–12 years of daily cycling. Tubular lead-acid batteries last 5–7 years. We use LiFePO₄ for all new installations.

We size battery banks for 2–3 days of autonomy based on your load profile. Beyond that, a small diesel generator backup or a minimal grid connection (if feasible) is recommended. We design honestly — we will not promise coverage that the system cannot deliver.

Yes, if a grid connection becomes available. The solar panels and mounting are reusable. You would need a new grid-tied inverter and net meter installation. We design with this in mind when possible.
